📋 Description

• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with oncology departments and practices • Interact with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, executives, department heads, managers, and support staff • Increase education on product benefits and risks consistent with the approved label • Develop new business, improve resource utilization, and grow sales and market share to achieve the sales plan • Understand and address customer needs and gather market intelligence • Build compliant and innovative programs and initiatives with internal and cross-franchise partners • Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations using approved data • Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts • Collaborate with Brand and Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaison, MSL, and contracted SPP partners • Provide site support and resolve customer issues • Build, implement, communicate, and update strategic and tactical account plans • Facilitate physician and treatment-team training on approved and safe product use • Monitor and report sales progress • Act as AbbVie’s key point of contact for each account and coordinate requested support • Participate in clinician boards, societies, and other HCP meetings • Communicate key developments and findings to internal stakeholders • Remain current on clinical, market, payer, oncology, and disease-area developments • Complete required training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures • Identify sales opportunities and program strategies using internal and external data, resources, and tools • Participate in relevant organizational programs with legal/OEC approval • Demonstrate selling resources and tools to support selling strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located within/near the New York City territory • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience preferred • Oncology sales experience or oncology-specific clinical experience • Business savvy and analytical ability to analyze diverse data sets using multiple tools and define account/program strategies • Ability to meet customer needs in a complex environment through innovative strategies aligned with company and customer objectives • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead without direct authority • Experience developing teams on complex projects or challenges • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Persistence and strong track record of succeeding in a challenging environment • Account management experience preferred • Specialty pharmacy experience preferred • Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe-driving requirements • Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination
