📋 Description

• Support the company’s proposal process from start to finish • Identify new business and solicitation opportunities • Develop compliant, competitive proposals from opportunity identification through final submission • Analyze solicitations and build compliance matrices • Support content creation to meet solicitation requirements • Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather input, coordinate schedules, and manage deliverables • Maintain proposal libraries, resumes, past performance profiles, document control, and CRM data quality • Support Go/No-Go reviews and pre-screen RFPs for compliance concerns • Update Salesforce appropriately • Track and analyze proposal metrics and FOIAs • Incorporate feedback to improve proposal development processes • Enforce proposal timelines and support Bids calendar management • Facilitate reviews and ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and timely • Facilitate proposal production and shipping as necessary • Review and edit content and perform consistency reviews • Work with technical editor and operations teams to maintain high standards in proposal materials • Participate in kickoffs, solutioning, reviews, debriefs, BD and capture-related meetings • Provide administrative and content support throughout the BD lifecycle • Coordinate with marketing and data teams on graphics, dashboards, and proposal collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in proposal and qualifications development, writing, and editing • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; years of experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis on top of the requirements • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other needed marketing software • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must pass background check upon offer of employment • Eligibility to work in the United States is required • May require sitting or standing for hours for a long period of time • Mobility around client sites may be necessary • May require long hours at a computer • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively as needed • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in proposal development, management, and delivery • Preferred: Practical experience with proposal development for government clients in emergency management, disaster recovery/response, or federal solicitations • Preferred: Demonstrated understanding of key emergency management and homeland security programs and solutioning for government clients • Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of Canva • Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of AI proposal management systems • Preferred: Proposal training and/or certification(s) from APMP or other recognized institutions • Preferred: Practical experience with Salesforce or other recognized CRM systems • Preferred: Demonstrated experience working on proposals involving teaming partners in prime and subconsultant roles
