📋 Description

• Lead, grow, and support a team of senior iOS engineers • Build creative, user-facing features from early product and interaction design through execution and production quality • Set technical and quality standards for the iOS organization • Ensure architectural coherence, maintainability, and performance across the codebase • Coach engineers on effective use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows • Establish expectations, workflows, and guardrails for AI-generated output • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to shape product strategy • Guide scope and priority decisions while balancing user impact, velocity, and long-term technical health • Create a safe-to-experiment culture through early validation and real user feedback • Develop talent through regular feedback, mentorship, and career growth conversations • Represent the iOS team in organization-level planning and advocate for investment, technical excellence, and a user-centered approach

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience shipping Apple applications, including significant experience delivering complex, production-scale iOS products • Experience managing and growing teams of senior engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development • Technical fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS SDK • Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines • Experience operating in ambiguous problem spaces and turning unclear problem statements into crisp execution plans • Experience using AI-assisted development tools at a team level, including setting expectations, workflows, and guardrails for AI-generated output • Clear, compelling communication across technical, product, and design perspectives • Understanding of mobile video editing workflows, or curiosity and drive to develop that understanding quickly • Track record of influencing product direction, technical strategy, or design outcomes beyond the immediate team • Experience evolving engineering processes on growing teams, including quality, reliability, and release management • Experience building creative tools, video production software, or editing workflows • Hands-on experience using video editing applications • Familiarity with modern AI-enabled developer tooling and practices
