📋 Description

• Assess readiness of target Azure and AWS environments and core cloud services to support migration • Establish the migration environment and infrastructure used by migration teams • Define landing zone, target architecture, security standards, and guardrails for migrated workloads • Develop reusable migration patterns and infrastructure as code for consistent target deployments • Identify, document, and remediate cloud environment gaps that could block migration • Provide AWS and Azure architecture leadership and guidance to migration teams and specialists • Document architecture decisions and transfer standards and patterns to migration teams and operations staff • Support a large-scale enterprise cloud migration from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS • Assess cloud readiness and establish architecture standards, guardrails, and migration patterns

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizen • Minimum ten years of cloud or infrastructure architecture and engineering experience • Hands-on experience designing and implementing architectures in both Azure and AWS • Experience designing landing zones, cloud governance, and security guardrails for enterprise environments • Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation • Works on increasingly complex problems, exercises independent judgment, and provides direction and coordination for a multi-disciplinary team • Experience with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud environments • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification • Experience with large-scale data center migrations to the cloud • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, or CMMC • Federal program delivery experience • Experience using GitHub and GitHub Copilot for source control and AI-assisted development • Familiarity with AI technologies and their practical use in IT delivery or cloud environments
