📋 Description

• Evaluate libraries, tools, and services for suitability. • Own implementation of stories and advanced cloud engineering work for clients. • Research and document problems and potential solutions. • Qualify problems, pain points, and potential jeopardies using various frameworks and methodologies. • Build on Cloud Native patterns, IoT back ends, serverless architectures, and highly automated work patterns and delivery methods. • Advocate technically for the team, ensuring clear direction and efficient execution. • Design support systems and response procedures and coordinate hand-off to Cloud Operations Support Engineers. • Participate hands-on in project development. • Enforce software development life cycle standards, procedures, and methodologies. • Move between big-picture thinking and management of relevant details. • Participate in cross-functional implementation teams to deliver client solutions. • Prepare work for team members of varying experience levels by defining stories and tasks. • Contribute to internal IP and open-source development. • Participate in delivery efforts using Agile or other work methodologies. • Build relationships with vendors and partners. • Engage with clients through presentations, technical decisions, and education opportunities. • Research and stay current on AWS best practices and evolving capabilities. • Share knowledge and skills with TrekFed team members and client teams. • Write blog posts, speak at community events, support AWS Partner Community certifications, and help clients solve problems. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software), or 4 years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software). • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services. • 1+ year of code-defined infrastructure experience. • 1+ year of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) experience. • 3+ years of programming experience utilizing Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GoLang, Java, C#, or other similar languages. • Experience with Agile Project Management or other project management methodologies. • Must be a U.S. Citizen. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. • Preferred: AWS Cloud Architect Associate, SysOps Associate, Developer Associate, DevOps Professional, and/or Solutions Architect Professional Certification. • Preferred: AWS Specialty Certification. • Preferred: Intermediate experience building scalable, automated infrastructure. • Preferred: Intermediate experience with AWS Lambda and serverless systems. • Preferred: Intermediate experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments. • Preferred: Intermediate experience in a consultative, client-facing consulting role. • Preferred: Intermediate experience with Cloud Native patterns and services such as AWS Lambda. • Preferred: Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Preferred: Previous or current experience with Federal/Government stakeholders. • Preferred: Intermediate experience with newer ATO strategies such as Fast Track or Continuous ATO. • Preferred: Intermediate experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
