📋 Description

• Support coordination with third-party Commissioning Agents on assigned projects • Review commissioning scripts and deliverables, witness testing as needed, and verify results and evidence • Develop, review, and implement project-specific commissioning plans • Perform spot checks of field testing and documentation against the Sequence of Operations • Support quality assurance analysis, metrics, and leading indicators for Critical and High issues during Level 4, RVT, and Level 5 inspection checklists • Support formal gating of systems between commissioning levels by confirming prerequisites, documentation, and readiness • Escalate installation or documentation quality issues that do not meet the Reliability Standard • Manage the master Commissioning Issue Log for assigned projects • Categorize issues and drive root cause analysis for Level 4 and Level 5 Critical and High issues through verified closeout • Collaborate with Site Operations to assess open deficiencies, define workarounds or Manual Operating Procedures, and document risks • Hold General Contractors and vendors accountable to commissioning schedules, documentation requirements, and technical design intent • Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors on MEP system implementation and verification • Communicate status, successes, challenges, and action plans to management and the broader team • Train third-party personnel on Aligned Quality and Commissioning Programs • Manage Cx Alloy use and requirements for assigned projects • Develop and maintain project feedback loops, refine risk models, adapt strategies, and track lessons learned • Identify and implement process improvements in commissioning readiness, testing rigor, issue closeout velocity, and turnover repeatability • Participate in cross-functional lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future project planning and execution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related engineering/technical field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in commissioning, reliability, or mission-critical facilities delivery • Experience in data centers or similarly complex MEP environments • Experience supporting Level 4 functional testing and Level 5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST) • Experience supporting issue management and closeout, coordinating corrective actions across trades/vendors, and contributing to turnover package completeness • Knowledge of mission-critical electrical/mechanical systems and controls, acceptance criteria, SOO verification, and integrated test concepts • Ability to interpret one-lines, P&IDs, sequences/control narratives, and testing documentation • Working familiarity with BAS/controls and EPMS/SCADA trending • Experience with commissioning management platforms such as Cx Alloy or equivalent • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across departments • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods • Ability to analyze and solve problems involving several options with limited information • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and openness to new ideas and procedures • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear as required by the role
