📋 Description

• Analyze business questions and deliver actionable insights • Compile, organize, query, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources • Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and performance measurement tools • Use SQL to query and manipulate data and create analytics-ready datasets • Apply data quality and governance best practices • Monitor business performance and evaluate key initiatives • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and solve business challenges • Present findings through clear visualizations, data storytelling, and business-focused recommendations • Manage multiple analytics assignments and contribute to continuous improvement and analytics best practices • Consultant II: Complete analyses, recurring reporting, dashboard enhancements, and performance measurement assignments; clarify business questions and gather requirements; apply established analytical methods and data standards; identify trends and communicate recommendations • Senior Consultant I: Complete complex analyses; partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders; connect insights across datasets and performance indicators; develop recommendations influencing strategy and priorities; anticipate data quality and governance risks; strengthen team deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Consultant II: 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related discipline • Senior Consultant I: 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related discipline • Working knowledge of SQL (Consultant II) • Strong SQL and advanced data analysis skills (Senior Consultant I) • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or a similar tool • Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and deliver multiple assignments • Experience independently leading multiple analytics projects and influencing business decisions through insights (Senior Consultant I) • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) • Experience in insurance, sales, distribution, or financial analytics (preferred) • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or data lakehouse environments (preferred) • Working knowledge of Python, R, or another programming language (preferred) • The candidate offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation • Must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload when working from home • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
