📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products integrated into the SDLC and core enterprise platforms • Own security control capabilities end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and ongoing production support • Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code • Apply test-driven development, paired programming, and continuous integration and deployment • Contribute to high-level and low-level system and component designs focused on scalability, reliability, and security • Evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and patterns to improve security controls • Collaborate with product managers, platform teams, and partner engineering groups • Participate in agile delivery ceremonies and contribute to fast feedback, incremental delivery, and continuous improvement • Own the reliability, adoption, and effectiveness of delivered security controls • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience • Demonstrated ownership of production systems throughout the full software development lifecycle • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Java or JavaScript • Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed systems and cloud-based applications, including microservices architectures • Ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs and backend services, including REST-based interfaces • Familiarity with test-driven development, paired programming, and continuous integration and deployment • Experience collaborating within agile delivery models • Working knowledge of application and API security concepts, including OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK • Experience implementing or integrating authentication, authorization, and identity-based access controls • Knowledge of secure software development practices, including behavior-driven development or security-focused testing patterns • Exposure to containerized and cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Azure • Exposure to large language models, machine learning concepts, or AI-driven systems • Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or Cursor responsibly • Minimum of 1 year of coaching or mentoring engineers for Lead and Expert levels • Ability to lead technical design and architecture decisions for complex distributed systems for Lead and Expert levels • Track record of driving cross-team collaboration for Lead and Expert levels • Required to submit to a background investigation • Must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating when working from home
