📋 Description

• Provide technical application support to production applications, systems, and business teams • Investigate incidents, interruptions, and bugs in operational systems • Triage and troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement changes or workarounds • Develop data extractions, reports, and analyses using databases, report writers, data marts, or specialized applications • Track production issues and report periodically on application uptime and efficiency • Provide support during maintenance and upgrade events • Train new employees on production processes • Document production applications and respond to application issues and requests • Monitor performance metrics, identify technical issue root causes, and recommend solutions • Participate in periodic meetings and plan production application strategies • Mentor and support junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 8+ years related work experience in an application/production support role • Provide two tier support to applications and resolve production issues • Maintain scheduled jobs, troubleshoot processes, and resolve issues • Experience supporting complex, multi-module, custom applications • Experience in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis • Understanding of database principles and extensive hands-on SQL experience • Working knowledge of UNIX and networking • Experience with Java-based applications • Knowledge of operating systems, middleware, databases, and web servers • Incident, Change, and Problem Management experience • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or other ticketing tools • Must be willing to provide rotating on-call support for 24x7 coverage, including off-hours and weekends • ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred) • Command Center experience or major incident management experience (desirable)
