📋 Description

• Design and implement star schema dimensional models in SQL Server for business intelligence and analytics • Write and optimize data-operation scripts, including table creation, indexing, keys, and slowly changing dimensions • Perform business analysis and develop ETL code and scripting according to technical specifications and business requirements • Develop application systems following standard system development methodology for design, programming, backup, and recovery • Determine programming approaches, tools, and techniques that meet business requirements • Provide subject matter expertise in specifications and plans for data-process development • Deploy application code and analytical models using CI/CD tools and support deployed data applications and models • Collaborate directly with clients in an agile, multifaceted team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or another scientific or quantitative field • 5 years’ experience designing conceptual, physical, and logical data models using enterprise data modeling tools • 5 years’ experience in strategic data planning, governance, and standards • 5 years’ experience leveraging enterprise data warehouse modeling constructs and star schema best practices • Hands-on experience integrating systems with big data/data lake repositories using ETL tools • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, DBeaver, and Visual Studio • Experience with data mining and data warehousing • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical resources • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance; active Secret Clearance highly preferred • Preferred: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Git, GitHub • Preferred: SQL Server or data management certification such as CDMP or MCSA • Preferred: defense healthcare domain background
