📋 Description

• Build a consumer product that verifies authenticity of thinking and learning • Own user-facing product interfaces and the core learner experience • Build a secure communications layer between product components across server-side, browser, and client-side environments • Encrypt sensitive user data to ensure privacy and security • Design storage architecture and schemas for persistent user state • Develop data access controls and audit logging meeting institutional security and compliance requirements • Own features end-to-end from specification through production, including testing, monitoring, and iteration • Use AI-assisted development tooling to maintain high output without sacrificing code quality • Contribute to and grow shared component libraries and codebase standards • Research circumvention tools, best practices, and industry competitors to help maintain the team's edge

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience • Native use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent as an actual development workflow • Experience shipping full-stack products to real users with accountability for whether they work • Strong product instincts and ability to identify and fix user-experience issues • Ability to move fast, make good decisions under ambiguity, and improve the codebase • Fluency in written and spoken English • Portfolio/GitHub link included with application • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the role is based at the time of hire and maintain that authorization for the duration of employment • PhD in computer science or related field preferred • Curiosity about technologies and human interactions • Understanding of consumer-facing tools, usability requirements, and quality assurance practices • Ability to dissect how tools work, close exploits, and eliminate loopholes • Background in consumer-facing products where user behavior and engagement matter and product integrity is paramount • Willingness and drive to identify root issues and solve them
