📋 Description

• Independently rebuild asset and liability (bond) cash flows for ABS transactions by reverse-engineering payment waterfalls from offering documents and legal agreements • Recreate and analyze customized investor scenarios and discuss results with the investment bank • Perform loan pool analysis, collateral stratification, and legal document review for AUP reports • Review model output, identify discrepancies, and explain them so reports tie out accurately before closing • Collaborate with teammates and coordinate with internal and external parties throughout AUP report creation and delivery • Manage modeling on live deals, including client communication and deliverable timing • Develop and refine workflow processes and document procedures for efficient, accurate deliverables • Communicate clearly with clients and all levels of the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, MBA, or master’s degree preferred • 3+ years of experience in securitization, structured products, or asset management • Hands-on cash flow modeling experience, ideally including AUP or payment-date verification work • Strong Excel skills; VBA, Python, or another programming language is a plus • In-depth understanding of one or more asset classes: ABS, RMBS, or esoteric and similar securitized and structured products • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences • Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects and meet tight, changing deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Willingness to undertake limited travel, including industry conferences as needed
