📋 Description

• Use knowledge of VA databases and their interrelationships to source analytics • Design, build, and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards for OCI leadership, VA Business Owners, and delivery teams • Build visualizations of Epic and Feature value measures, including baseline, actual, and variance • Supply structured data to the OIP Integration team • Develop dashboards for VHIE exchange volume, data quality, and exchange partner performance • Develop dashboards for EHR issue management, Oracle Health queues, and patient safety monitors • Advise on how new data sources and tools fit into VA’s informatics environment • Apply project management tools and techniques to plan and deliver analytics work, including schedules and dependencies • Apply change management theory to drive dashboard adoption and train users • Define data-quality checks and document data sources, definitions, and refresh schedules • Participate in PI Planning, backlog refinement, iteration ceremonies, and system demos • Help decompose Epics into Features with clear acceptance criteria • Present analytics findings and recommendations to OCI leadership and VA Business Owners

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree required • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience • Knowledge and skill in VA databases and their interrelationships, including CDW, VSSC, and other VHA data sources, as they relate to VA’s informatics environment • Knowledge and skill in applying project management tools and techniques • Knowledge and skill in applying change management theory and applications • Experience building dashboards and analytics in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA background investigation at the level assigned to the position • Must reside and work in the United States with U.S. work authorization • Desired: Advanced SQL • Desired: Experience with Summit Data Platform or Databricks • Desired: Experience with VHIE or ServiceNow data • Desired: PMP or Prosci certification • Desired: Experience applying Section 508 accessibility standards to dashboards • Desired: Degree in informatics, health care administration, data science, or a related field • Desired: Experience on SAFe or Scrum teams
