📋 Description

• Write functional and design specifications for features related to traffic forwarding • Independently implement solutions to small-sized problems • Write test plan specifications and implement automated test programs • Debug problems found by automated tests and fix them • Work on team implementing, testing, and debugging larger routing protocol problems • Mentor new and junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• BS Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 8 years experience, or MS + 6 years experience, or Ph.D. + 3 years experience or equivalent work experience • Knowledge of C, C++, python • Knowledge of UNIX or Linux • Understanding of L2/L3 networking • Ability to utilize, test, and debug packet forwarding engine and hardware component’s software libraries • Hands on experience in design and development of ethernet bridging or routing related software or distributed systems.
