📋 Description

• Own the architecture, reliability, and technical direction for a product surface or system • Ship full-stack features end to end, from schema and API through React UI • Decompose larger problems into parallelizable work and adjust as requirements evolve • Design durable data models and reliable integrations • Use SQL to analyze eligibility, claims, and quality data; build reporting and analytics • Run schema and data migrations safely, including backfills, staged cutovers, and rollback plans • Add meaningful logging, alerts, and runbooks • Build authorization, audit trails, and PHI minimization into designs • Work directly with product managers, practice managers, and clinicians • Handle production incidents independently • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct educational code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering; rare exceptions for outstanding experience • Full-stack experience owning features from database to browser • Strong TypeScript, including on the backend • Strong SQL, including writing and tuning non-trivial queries, reading query plans, and designing schemas • Data and analytics proficiency • Production experience with React • Docker and container-based development and deployment • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP • Strong proficiency with AI development tools such as coding agents and assistants • Preferred: Database modeling and migration frameworks such as Drizzle, Prisma, SQLAlchemy, or Alembic • Preferred: Cloud IAM, roles, and least-privilege access design • Preferred: Python • Preferred: LLM-driven applications, including tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and guardrails • Preferred: Healthcare data experience, including eligibility, claims, clinical data, HL7/FHIR, or payer/provider integrations • Preferred: Experience operating systems that handle PHI under HIPAA
