📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans through implementation and closure • Conduct supplier audits • Champion structured problem-solving efforts with suppliers • Perform Production Process Verifications (PPVs) • Participate in PPAP review processes • Analyze supplier defect and performance data to identify trends and drive preventative measures • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Quality teams to mitigate risks and ensure supplier compliance • Champion a proactive quality culture within the supply base using APQP principles and tools • Review and interpret technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and requirements • Travel to and visit suppliers in the Northeastern Region of the United States

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4+ years of experience, or 6–8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills • Continuous improvement and results orientation • Ability to read and interpret technical documents • Working knowledge of GD&T • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of Quality Management System principles and purpose, such as AS9100 • Proficiency in data analytics • Must live in or around the Northeastern Region of the United States • Ability to travel to and visit suppliers in the region
