📋 Description

• Define and execute Ball’s global payroll operations strategy • Ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll services across all regions • Establish governance frameworks and manage payroll-related compliance risks • Develop strategic roadmaps with measurable payroll efficiency deliverables • Partner with Legal, Audit and Compliance to strengthen controls • Harmonize global payroll processes using automation, AI and self-service tools • Drive consolidation of payroll platforms and services • Ensure payroll issue resolution, employee support and consistent payroll practices • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce processing time and errors • Use data analytics to track performance and improve payroll services • Manage vendor selection, negotiation and performance monitoring • Build, monitor and develop a high-performing payroll team • Establish KPIs and performance metrics • Provide training, coaching and career development • Advise stakeholders and communicate payroll trends, challenges and successes • Align payroll processes with business operations, compliance, policies and cost controls • Manage the payroll function budget and conduct cost analysis • Negotiate vendor contracts and implement cost-saving measures • Report to the VP, Global Business Services and partner with the Director, Global Process and Technology Owner

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field • 10+ years of progressive global payroll management, workforce administration, or shared services leadership experience • Expertise in global labor laws, tax regulations and payroll governance frameworks • Experience managing global payroll teams, vendors and compliance in a matrixed organization • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive payroll transformation and optimize payroll operations • Extensive knowledge of global payroll operations, governance, service delivery models and payroll compliance across multiple countries and regions • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, employment taxation, statutory reporting, internal controls, audit requirements and risk management principles • Comprehensive understanding of payroll processes and integration with HR, Time & Attendance, Finance, Benefits, Equity and related workforce management functions • Knowledge of global business services operating models, vendor management, service governance and continuous improvement methodologies • Understanding of organizational change, business transformation and emerging payroll, workforce and regulatory trends • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
