📋 Description

• Lead the design and execution of IT vendor management strategies to maximize ROI and operational efficiency • Manage IT vendor management process enhancement and redesign efforts • Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes • Manage IT vendor relationships and oversee vendor performance evaluations • Negotiate high-value IT contracts and ensure favorable organizational outcomes • Develop metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms for executive-level presentations and decision-making • Develop, implement, and serve as a subject matter expert on IT vendor management policies and best practices • Collaborate with finance and legal teams on budgets, total cost of ownership, and compliance risks • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and training • Train and coach customers on managing IT vendor relationships and contracts • Partner with internal stakeholders to align vendor performance with organizational objectives • Communicate with leaders at all levels of the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, procurement, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 4 years of progressive experience in IT vendor management, strategic sourcing, or procurement operations • Extensive experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance evaluation, and cost-saving initiatives • Ability to lead and manage complex projects and cross-functional teams • Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and strategic-planning skills • Experience with ROI and total cost of ownership analysis • Proficiency in vendor management systems and advanced reporting tools • Ability to work Monday through Friday during normal business hours • Must live in one of the specified states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming • Vendor management experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable • Experience in a large or highly matrixed organization is highly desirable
