📋 Description

• Administer and troubleshoot a large-scale enterprise Windows environment, including supported subsystems and third-party applications • Plan, design, implement, and troubleshoot Windows server and workstation platforms • Improve efficiency and processes • Provide consistent customer service • Participate in a 24x7 on-call engineering team for troubleshooting, maintenance, and special circumstances • Support a mission-critical federal government client remotely

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience • Expert-level PowerShell scripting experience for automating routine operational and maintenance tasks • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft IIS, MSSQL, and Active Directory • Strong problem-solving and systematic troubleshooting skills • Methodical approach to change execution and implementation • Understanding of TCP/IP • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across organizational levels • Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance • Availability for a 24x7 on-call rotation, including nights and/or weekends • Familiarity with frameworks, languages, and server technologies used for large-scale applications • Experience with Microsoft C# • Experience designing and supporting highly available application infrastructure • Networking troubleshooting knowledge covering DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL, TLS, SFTP, routing, switching, and firewalls • Knowledge of Windows and VMware HA environments, including VMware HA/DRS/SRM • Understanding of SAN-to-server connectivity, including NetApp and EMC platforms • Experience with hosted/cloud-based solutions • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, technical certifications, or equivalent professional experience are desired • US citizenship is requested in the application form
