• Review, draft, and implement HR-related contracts, employment agreements, and policy documents • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment regulations; advise clients on compliance risks and solutions • Support client payroll and benefits administration, including coordination with PEOs and vendors • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including offer letters, background checks, I-9 verification, final pay, and separation agreements • Serve as a resource for employment law, benefits, and HR operations questions • Oversee workers’ compensation, EPLI, and other employment-related insurance policies • Conduct employee relations investigations and prepare documentation as needed • Maintain and update employee handbooks, compliance notices, and HR records • Coordinate reporting to government agencies (EEO, ACA, state registrations, etc.) • Monitor contract renewals, policy deadlines, and compliance calendars • Prepare HR reports and audit files for internal and client use • Work on special compliance or operational projects as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field • 6+ years of HR operations, compliance, or generalist experience; experience in a client-facing role a plus • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Experience reviewing and drafting HR policies, contracts, and agreements • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and PEO models • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other comparable certification required • PHR-CA preferred
