• Contribute meaningfully to the success of one or more projects or products • Demonstrate proficiency and specialized skill in key technologies relevant to team goals • Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features • Actively reduce technical debt across projects or products • Support and collaborate with team members • Follow established team processes for reliable feature delivery to production • Work with teammates, external teams, and client stakeholders throughout the SDLC • Develop test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with software specifications and user requirements • Document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking tools • Facilitate communication across teams for issue resolution • Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices • Track software quality metrics throughout the SDLC • Automate testing to increase coverage, speed, and accuracy for CI/CD pipelines • Evaluate and recommend QA tools, frameworks, and techniques • Ensure testing complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements • Prepare documentation for audits • Conduct performance and security testing
• US Citizenship or Green Card only - we do not offer Sponsorship • US Residency for at least the past 3 years • Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation • Advanced SQL, including window functions, CTEs, and query-plan analysis • Experience tuning queries against very large tables • PostgreSQL schema design, indexing strategy, and live-system migrations • Pipeline ownership using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar • Fluency in Python • Experience validating and reconciling data from non-authoritative sources • Ability to design for unreliable, changing, and delayed third-party data feeds • Medical or recreational marijuana use may affect ability to obtain Public Trust • Nice to have: event-driven ingestion on AWS, including Lambda, S3 events, EventBridge, and Step Functions • Nice to have: pharmacy, drug pricing, formulary, or payer data experience; NCPDP, First Databank, Medi-Span, or HPMS • Nice to have: Airflow, Dagster, dbt, or Step Functions • Nice to have: Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK • Nice to have: FedRAMP or ATO-governed environment experience • Nice to have: Great Expectations, Soda, or equivalent data quality frameworks • Nice to have: applied AI/ML, particularly anomaly detection on data feeds
