📋 Description

• Represent BeneLynk’s internal and external customers in product design decisions • Work with Operations, development, sales, and other stakeholders to prioritize and deliver solutions on time • Inform and help define product strategy with senior management, the Product Owner, and the Veteran Choose team • Maintain working relationships with department heads and understand their work • Challenge management assumptions, ask difficult questions, and execute initiatives supporting rapid innovation • Develop and maintain an understanding of intuitive design principles and relevant industries to identify product opportunities • Translate complex program rules involving eligibility, service authorizations, budgets, timesheets, payroll, and compliance into simple, error-resistant workflows • Produce user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using standard and AI-assisted design tools • Facilitate design-alignment workshops and structured reviews with product, engineering, compliance, and operations stakeholders • Translate approved designs into developer-ready specifications, interaction notes, and edge-case documentation • Design and maintain a consistent design system and component library across user roles and platform modules • Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing • Synthesize research into personas, journey maps, and problem statements • Design to WCAG 2.1 AA or higher accessibility standards • Run usability testing and iterate based on feedback, support themes, complaints, and product analytics • Document design decisions and rationale for audit readiness and compliance traceability • Stay embedded with engineering during implementation and resolve fidelity gaps • Support efficiency in existing product development processes and bring new products to market

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors/Associates degree • 2 - 5+ years in healthcare • 5+ years in UI/UX Product Design • Experience in Agile business/software development lifecycle process and methodologies • Expertise using current tools such as AI, Claude, and Figma to rapidly build wireframes and prototypes • Excellent oral and written communication skills • End user workflow experience • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills • Strong judgment and decision-making skills • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills • Ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, developers, fellow designers, and end users • Knowledge of value-based care providers and related entities is preferred • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time • Must have a stable internet connection • Employment is contingent upon required background and drug screening • Must complete work authorization verification through E-Verify
