📋 Description

• Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting, configuration, and application-submission tools before checkout • Partner closely with App and Checkout teams • Contribute to architectural discussions and direction-setting • Resolve partner-specific edge cases as partners and volume scale • Write unit and integration tests for shipped code • Peer review teammates’ code • Use AI coding tools as a default part of daily workflow • Support knowledge transfer through pairing and documentation • Follow and improve automation and CI/CD practices across the team • Diagnose and resolve production issues in delivered features • Explain technical tradeoffs to engineers, PMs, and non-technical partners

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years professional backend software development experience • Professional experience with Go; comfortable owning services end to end • Experience with distributed systems or microservices • Experience designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers) • Experience using Docker for local development • CI/CD as default practice • Demonstrated day-to-day fluency using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT in real engineering work • Comfortable contributing to architectural discussions and mentorship • Idiomatic, maintainable Go development, including concurrency, error handling, and package structure • System design and architecture experience • API design experience • Unit and integration testing experience • Cross-team collaboration and production debugging experience • Must be eligible to work full-time in the United States; posting asks whether visa sponsorship will be required
