📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure using compute, networking, storage, serverless, and managed platform services • Review and assist in architecting AWS solutions for scalability, security, governance, and cost efficiency • Review and maintain reusable cloud patterns, foundational components, and reference architectures • Support serverless and container-based workloads using AWS-native services • Troubleshoot and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and CDK • Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules, templates, Rego policies, and helper functions • Review and enhance automated provisioning, configuration management, and environmental consistency controls • Review and maintain AWS IAM authentication and authorization models • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams on design reviews and regulatory adherence • Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, alerting, traces, metrics, dashboards, and runbooks using CloudWatch and related AWS observability services • Optimize AWS workloads for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency • Ensure operational readiness, including backup and recovery considerations • Partner with software engineering teams on cloud onboarding, implementation best practices, and architecture decisions • Support PoC/MVP and production-ready AWS solutions • Promote engineering standards, reusable patterns, and automation-first delivery practices • Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in production environments • AWS Containers mandatory, or expertise in Serverless • Implementation experience with several AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, Service Catalog, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EventBridge, S3, RDS, and Step Functions • Implementation experience with Docker, ECS Fargate, ECR, and EFS • Experience with event-driven architecture patterns using SNS, SQS, or EventBridge • Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python mandatory, or extensive software development experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work autonomously and drive cloud services end-to-end • Effective communication and collaboration across engineering and business teams • Customer-focused mindset supporting high-performing developer teams • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering standards and best practices • AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, preferred • CloudFormation, CDK, Liquibase, GitHub Actions/reusable workflows, software development, and end-to-end AWS PoC/MVP experience nice to have
