📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive API strategy design across the full lifecycle, including design, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, security policy enforcement, and retirement • Consult with C-level stakeholders and Enterprise Architects on the ROI of API-first strategies, security, scalability, and data productization • Advise on enterprise security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT • Architect and demonstrate Developer Portals for internal and external API discovery and consumption • Coordinate cross-functional internal specialists for high-stakes Proofs of Concept and complex RFI/RFP technical responses • Demonstrate the intersection of API Management, iPaaS, and MDM • Advise on data flows using ETL for movement and MDM for context, ensuring secure, high-integrity APIs deliver the enterprise Golden Record • Lead complex technical engagements in North America as a strategic API governance and digital ecosystems architect

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in API Lifecycle Management and deployment of high-performance API Gateways in complex, distributed environments • Deep technical proficiency in modern identity providers and security frameworks • Understanding of risk mitigation at the edge • Proven ability to design solutions incorporating Microservices, Service Mesh, and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA) • Track record of driving technical alignment in a sales environment • Exceptional ability to present to executive-level audiences • Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle • Experience with or exposure to ETL/ELT data integration patterns and Master Data Management principles • Advanced proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems and enterprise API suites such as MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong • Preferred certifications include AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architecture, CISSP/CCSP, or TOGAF • Expertise in API Lifecycle Management and security/orchestration of AI-driven APIs and LLMs • Familiarity with data integration platforms such as Boomi Integration, Informatica, or Talend and MDM solutions
