📋 Description

• Coordinate with technical and non-technical staff across departments • Partner on workflow automation using crons, n8n, and Airflow • Run outage incidents and maintain the incident response process and tooling • Work within compliance requirements and coordinate sprints • Collect metrics and report to management • Maintain documentation • Ensure accurate, reliable, and proactive monitoring across the application stack • Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with security and regulatory standards • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in GCP • Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available • Build automation to reduce toil and enable infrastructure self-healing during production incidents • Troubleshoot issues and support cloud infrastructure and observability tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Professional, expert level experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (preferably GCP) with minimum 5 years experience • Experience with observability tools and processes, such as monitoring, logging, and tracing • Strong experience in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Bash, Java, or Go • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Experience collaborating with network and application security teams • Comfortable leveraging AI tools, including Claude, Copilot, and Gemini • Ability to work in a 24/7 on call rotation • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer • Nice to have: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git • Nice to have: collaboration experience with Data Engineering teams • Nice to have: experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef • Nice to have: previous experience in a 24/7 on call environment • Nice to have: mentorship or technical leadership experience
