📋 Description

• Manage a team of cloud engineers. • Develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals and business value. • Assign team personnel to projects and direct and monitor their activities. • Ensure standard operating procedures and system documentation are developed and maintained to maximize uptime and IT resource utilization. • Provide leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering staff. • Drive timely delivery of projects and tasks. • Oversee and review architecture of complex cloud solutions for scalability, reliability, and security. • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. • Stay current with cloud technologies and trends and drive organizational innovation. • Manage cloud projects and coordinate with various teams for successful implementation. • Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, processes, best practices, and disaster recovery plans. • Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or related work experience in lieu of degree. • A General certification in one of the major cloud platforms is preferred. • 10+ years of experience required, with a preference toward large enterprise environments. • Health care experience is a plus. • Experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on leadership and advanced-level responsibilities. • General understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • General understanding of cloud architecture, automation tools, and security best practices. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Supervisory responsibility for up to 15 FTEs.
