📋 Description

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools • Develop and maintain infrastructure for Azure Government environments • Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including VMs, containers, storage, networking, and security controls aligned to FedRAMP High and VA TRM requirements • Implement DevSecOps practices with automated security scanning, vulnerability assessment, and compliance validation • Manage development, test, staging, and production environments • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Splunk, or similar platforms • Respond to incidents and implement remediation • Collaborate with Appian developers, DBAs, and security teams on deployment, performance tuning, and platform operations • Automate backup/recovery, patching, scaling, and configuration management • Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures • Support release planning and coordination activities • Mentor junior engineers and promote automation best practices across delivery teams

🎯 Requirements

• US citizen with ability to pass Tier 2 background investigation • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field; 3+ additional years of relevant IT experience may be considered in lieu of degree • 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or systems administration • At least 2 years supporting cloud-based applications • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and services, including Azure, AWS, or similar • Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues • Experience with Azure Government Cloud or other FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments • Knowledge of Appian platform infrastructure requirements and deployment patterns • Experience with Docker or OpenShift • Infrastructure as code expertise with Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, or Ansible • Track record supporting Federal government system modernization programs • Understanding of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and ATO processes • Experience with configuration management tools • Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana • Git version control and branching strategies for infrastructure code • Experience with database administration or performance tuning for enterprise applications • Understanding of Federal acquisition or financial management systems • Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer
