📋 Description

• Perform conventional civil design engineering and analysis for substation and site development projects • Provide technical guidance on low- to medium-complexity projects • Manage engineering design aspects, schedules, budgets, quality, coordination, permitting, specifications, procurement, and construction • Collect, assimilate, and manage site development engineering data and incorporate client-specific design standards • Coordinate technical aspects and make project engineering execution decisions within applicable policies, standards, guides, and contract commitments • Design or oversee site grading, pavement, landscaping, and storm, sanitary, and water utilities • Design or oversee temporary and permanent BMPs for construction and stormwater management • Develop or lead drawing packages for geometric layout, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and details • Coordinate civil site design with designers, engineers, project managers, other disciplines, and partnering consultants • Lead or attend client meetings, communications, conference calls, and client site visits • Review zoning ordinances and develop site layouts • Assist with permits for storm, sanitary, water main, SESC, and floodplain work • Analyze and assist CAD support with topographic survey data formatting • Review RFIs, contractor submittals, and shop drawings • Assist with proposals, RFPs, project estimates, and business development • Ensure compliance with the company quality program

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent ABET-accredited degree • Professional Engineering (PE) license required • 4 or more years of experience as a civil engineer • Experience in civil land development in commercial, industrial, governmental, or aviation sectors • Construction experience is a plus • Attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to work in a team-based environment and individually • Ability to travel to meetings and client sites throughout the United States • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation • Expert in Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads • Ability to work in the United States • Occasional flexibility in work hours to meet project deadlines required
