📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy full-stack features end-to-end • Build systems from the ground up and expand the product surface area • Prototype quickly to test hypotheses and determine what to rework or discard • Harden validated prototypes for enterprise-scale use • Make architectural decisions with limited precedent • Ship code to production regularly and own quality and reliability • Shape engineering practices and technical direction as a senior engineering voice • Support developer experience for AI-empowered contributors from non-engineering backgrounds • Partner across product, science, and business teams • Own shipped features through discovery, prototyping, launch, iteration, hardening, and scaled adoption • Build customer-facing web applications and internal capabilities • Refine vague requirements into production systems while considering access control, data protection, and auditability

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a full-stack engineer, with depth across front-end, back-end, databases, and deployment • Track record of building systems from scratch and operating them at scale • Judgment to make sound tradeoffs in multi-layer distributed systems • Daily use of agentic engineering tools • Experience deploying AI-augmented software systems to production • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to scope problems • Able to contribute within days, not weeks • Strong product instincts and commercial awareness • Effective collaboration with design partners, product managers, scientists, and business stakeholders • Experience in carbon, climate, or energy is a strong plus • Experience in regulated environments such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is a bonus • Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or safety guardrails for non-specialists is a bonus
