📋 Description

• Oversee payroll operations across the Care Access business, with direct responsibility for U.S. and Canada payroll • Oversee international payroll delivered through a global vendor and support additional countries as they are brought under the Care Access entity • Own end-to-end payroll processing for designated entities, including semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll cycles • Process salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings accurately and timely • Validate, reconcile, and audit payroll data; identify and resolve discrepancies • Lead year-end payroll activities, tax reconciliations, W-2 preparation, and related filings • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and applicable international payroll regulations • Manage payroll tax setup and registrations across jurisdictions • Monitor regulatory changes and implement required payroll process updates • Resolve payroll tax, compliance, employee, and stakeholder issues • Oversee payroll provider relationships and global payroll vendor performance • Maintain payroll data integrity across HRIS and Finance systems • Prepare, analyze, and deliver payroll reporting • Support system enhancements, implementations, process automation, and process standardization initiatives • Contribute to broader People and Finance initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements; familiarity with international payroll and vendor-supported models • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlines in a complex, multi-entity environment • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms, including reporting, data validation, and integrations • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and reconciliations • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including ownership of end-to-end payroll processing • Experience supporting multi-entity and/or multi-state payroll environments • Experience with Canada payroll strongly preferred • Experience working with or overseeing global payroll vendors or international payroll operations preferred • Experience operating in a high-growth or evolving environment, including process improvements, system changes, or organizational scaling efforts • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred • Care Access is unable to sponsor work visas at this time
