📋 Description

• Maintain cybersecurity systems through standard operating procedures, processes, and guidelines • Assess risk and suggest improvements to procedures and controls • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the computing environment • Enforce the Acceptable Use Policy • Participate in incident response/CIRT as directed • Apply security controls and provide guidance to teammates • Monitor cybersecurity systems, solutions, and services; identify issues and recommend resolutions • Maintain confidentiality of investigations, incidents, and forensic reviews • Manage cybersecurity projects with minor guidance and provide reporting to management • Lead cybersecurity projects with autonomy when applicable, including third-party security reviews, DLP, proxies, risk and vulnerability identification, remote access requests, biomedical device reviews, and related projects • Provide cybersecurity training and presentations to audiences of fewer than 100 people • Work with sensitive information and engage with Privacy, Legal, and law enforcement as directed • Maintain working knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory, technology, and operational trends • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge in IT or related field • 2-4 years in cybersecurity • No licensure, registration, or certification required • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint • Working experience with HIPAA, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, NIST (SP) 800-82r3, and associated methodologies • Experience troubleshooting, reasoning, and using problem-solving skills • Ability to work individually or as part of a team and assist teammates • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision • Technical experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, secure email gateways, EDR, DLP, Exact Data Matching, medical device management, OT/IoT solutions, and risk management platforms • Working knowledge of SFTP, TLS, SSH, AES, and related security protocols and standards • No sponsorship or transfer of visa • Ability to provide callback support, travel to facilities, work evenings/weekends when required, sit for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 40 pounds
