📋 Description

• Configure, roll out, and support assigned Epic applications • Provide analytical support for perioperative departments using Epic OpTime • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand needs and translate them into analytical solutions • Participate in Epic OpTime upgrades, testing, and implementation processes • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in perioperative and surgical areas • Participate in special projects and initiatives • Plan, design/build, test, implement, and support Epic software • Analyze and determine system requirements and specifications • Perform and document workflow analysis while evaluating user experience • Maintain application environments and create documentation and training materials • Configure Epic environment changes and standardized workflows • Correct issues, perform routine maintenance, update systems, and implement new technologies • Guide and support end-users and resolve system issues • Independently contribute to and manage small to medium projects • Update stakeholders on assigned tasks, projects, and issues • Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex problems • Identify solutions and complete documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules • Epic OpTime Systems Analyst experience OR experience with ORIS/PIS management preferred • 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry preferred • Associate's degree required • 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience preferred • Epic Application Certification within 6 months required • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity • Excellent customer service skills • Critical thinking skills • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational skills • Knowledge of project management principles • Ability to comply with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, and applicable laws • Travel requirement of 0%–25%
