📋 Description

• Designs, deploys, and supports data acquisition and data integration solutions from source systems to data warehouses and data marts • Gathers and processes raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured healthcare and clinical data using batch processing frameworks • Develops SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions • Develops and supports data transformation using the OMOP Common Data Model and healthcare terminology standards • Develops and utilizes unit and integration data testing processes, including healthcare data quality and OMOP data validation • Creates database diagrams, flow charts, script documentation, and training reference materials • Manages assigned projects and meets deadlines with minimal supervision • Assists senior data engineers with training materials and team-member development • Mentors other Data Engineers • Interfaces with clients, vendors, and technology teams to resolve escalated incidents and problems • Performs basic root cause analysis • Applies CI/CD, unit testing, publish-subscribe architecture, and REST interface concepts to healthcare data platforms and AI/Generative AI data pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline preferably computer science or information systems; or equivalent work experience • Minimum 2 years experience in working with enterprise data and cloud technologies • A minimum of 2 of the following certifications are required: W3Schools SQL Certification, SnowPro Core Certification, Epic Caboodle ETL Certified Administrator, DAMA CDMP Associate, Talend Data Integration Certified Developer, Talend Big Data Certified Developer, Talend Cloud Certified Administrator, Python PCEP, Python PCAP, Python PCAD, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Data – Fundamentals • Good organizational, analytical, dependable, detail-oriented, interpersonal, and written/oral skills • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be customer service oriented • Data profiling and data quality analysis experience preferred • Cloud data services, dimensional databases, cubes and columnar data structures experience preferred
