📋 Description

• Install back-end, automated data integrations to customer electronic medical records, billing systems, data warehouses, and other customer systems to ingest healthcare data into Caris environments • Create, manage, and optimize ETL processes from multiple internal data systems for analytic dashboards • Lead data discovery and validation projects to ensure accurate, timely data delivery • Lead technical requirements gathering and establish integration approaches for projects • Bridge business and technology by communicating technical processes to non-technical leaders and business requirements to technical process owners • Assemble and organize large clinical outcomes datasets for ingestion into Caris systems • Contribute to architectural design and development of clinical informatics and business intelligence infrastructure • Establish electronic medical record access using database access, FHIR, HL7, APIs, and other methods • Gather business requirements and work with users in an agile fashion to build dashboard outputs based on ETL data • Adhere to documented departmental and corporate standards • Perform related duties and special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field required • 3+ years of experience in extract, transform, and load (ETL) programming • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases • Experience with Health Level Seven (HL7) • Ability to work independently solving application software problems • Experience establishing external access and ETL strategies across multiple data sources, particularly electronic medical record systems • Ability to assemble and query complex database data, perform in-depth analysis, and decipher computational data • Working experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, with general working knowledge of the Internet for business use • Advanced knowledge and working experience in IT technologies, security architecture, and system life-cycle phases recommended • Preferred: 3+ years of ETL programming in an analytic/dashboard-building environment, preferably with healthcare data • Preferred: JavaScript programming and scripting skills • Preferred: Epic Beaker and/or Epic Bridges certification • Preferred: Familiarity with Mirth Connect, CloverETL, and/or other ETL tools • Willingness to work overtime; weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required based on business need • Must successfully complete the pre-employment process, including criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification
