📋 Description

• Lead client engagements and provide thought leadership on scalable cloud architecture and operational guidance • Lead cross-functional implementation teams and own advanced cloud engineering work for clients • Write Infrastructure as Code in multiple frameworks and build stability and security into cloud stacks • Automate client workflows and lead re-platforming and refactoring efforts • Lead client discovery and create prioritized backlogs for continuous improvement • Design, implement, and build scalable AWS architectures emphasizing reliability, security, and cost efficiency • Build and maintain observability solutions using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Config, Datadog, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry • Establish monitoring metrics, logs, runbooks, and automation with 24x7 response and operations teams • Reduce operational noise and address root causes with CloudOps teams • Partner with DevOps and security teams on resilience, security, and cost optimization • Coach team members, define stories and tasks, and contribute to internal IP and open source development • Participate in Agile delivery, code reviews, pair programming, vendor relationships, client presentations, and technical education • Stay current on AWS best practices and support certifications, blog posts, talks, and client problem-solving • Travel occasionally for stakeholder meetings, project kickoffs, conferences, and company functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 6 years of general IT experience; or 8+ years of general IT experience • 4+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services • 2+ years of code-defined infrastructure experience • 2+ years of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) experience • Experience with Agile Project Management or other project management methodologies • 4 years of experience with Cloud Native patterns using services such as AWS Lambda • 4 years of experience architecting and building scalable, automated infrastructure • Current legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located • AWS Associate and/or Professional Level Certification preferred • 2+ years of programming experience using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GoLang, Java, C#, or similar languages preferred • Experience with AWS and application observability concepts and methods preferred • Demonstrated documentation and presentation skills preferred
