📋 Description

• Provide leadership, oversight and proactive management of all aspects of finance (FP&A and G&A) for the Business Unit • Oversee finance FP&A and G&A activities, including developing and monitoring progress against the Annual Operating Plan • Conduct financial analysis, identify month-end financial drivers, and forecast, including headcount planning, to ensure compliance with state requirements • Identify medical cost trends and lead medical cost improvement initiatives • Perform financial impact analysis for new contracts and support negotiations • Review monthly business-unit performance and financial results, providing recommendations, variance rationale, and forecast impact to senior management • Establish financial strategic vision, objectives, policies and procedures supporting the overall strategic plan • Oversee and validate pricing models • Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and areas for development and improvement • Direct health plan analytical needs and coordinate reporting strategy • May lead rate-setting activity and coordinate corporate and state actuaries • Perform other assigned duties and comply with policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent experience required • 8+ years in a high-level finance role in the healthcare or insurance industry required • Previous management experience, including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing staff performance • Master's Degree preferred • CPA preferred • Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
