📋 Description

• Conduct Employee Relations investigations and recommend actions consistent with Cisco policies and practices • Maintain comprehensive case records and document investigation findings • Independently manage assigned casework and communicate with relevant parties • Bring investigations to closure quickly and definitively • Advise on disciplinary action recommendations for matters handled by other groups • Advise People Partners, cross-functional partners, and managers on Employee Relations matters and policy interpretation • Coach and counsel management and employees on complex Employee Relations case matters • Consult and collaborate with Global Employee Relations, People & Communities peers, Employee Legal, and other cross-functional partners • Communicate with all levels of the enterprise, including executive management • Participate in improving, designing, and delivering education for global programs managed within the team • Uphold and integrate Cisco’s Guiding Principles in actions, decisions, and interactions • Foster integrity, respect, and accountability in Employee Relations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field • 6+ years of Human Resources or Employee Relations experience • At least 3 years of investigation experience • 2+ years’ experience working in a multinational company • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience with HR Acuity for employee relations case management and documentation • Preferred: experience collaborating and supporting business objectives • Preferred: ability to exercise solid judgment and ownership of decision-making • Preferred: leadership, influence, and objectivity skills • Preferred: ability to influence all levels of management • Preferred: ability to work independently with confidence and low supervision • Preferred: presentation and training delivery skills • Preferred: ability to multitask and manage high case volume • Preferred: ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Preferred: ability to lead HR strategy discussions and generate implementation plans • Preferred: willingness to embrace emerging AI tools while balancing employee advocacy and workplace culture
