📋 Description

• Lead technical engagements with AI platform and infrastructure customers • Design AI, Service Provider, and Data Center networks at scale • Design AI back-end and front-end networks spanning compute, storage, and optics • Apply Cisco IOS-XR, NX-OS, or equivalent operating systems • Work with open-source NOS such as SONiC • Apply routing protocols including BGP, MPLS, EVPN, and Segment Routing • Design optical systems including Metro, RON, DWDM, and data center optics • Apply knowledge of silicon architecture, ASICs, and system designs • Address AI workloads, large language models, and MLOps tools • Use automation tooling and scripting • Link architectural vision to account strategy • Stay current on AI industry trends and changes • Lead demand generation and enablement strategy and planning • Identify customer needs and showcase cross-architecture solutions • Lead demonstrations showing how Cisco solutions drive business outcomes • Mobilize stakeholders to drive synergies and optimize customer relationships • Adjust strategies in response to disruptions • Establish trust and credibility through technical excellence

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical sales or customer engagement • Expertise in data center networking and service provider markets • Deep technical expertise in Service Provider architectures, including Data Center, Route/Switch, AI-Ready Networking, and Automation • Strong technical expertise in Cisco solutions or equivalent competitor products • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills • Customer-focused mindset • Self-motivated and proactive • Ability to build strong customer relationships and articulate Cisco’s product portfolio • 10+ years of hands-on experience adapting and delivering results in high-velocity, advanced technology environments (preferred) • In-depth knowledge of Compute and Optical (desirable) • Experience selling solutions to AI platform and infrastructure customers • Proven pre-sales track record • Ability to work independently • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco, competitors, technologies, solutions, and market dynamics • Ability to navigate complex technical and sales situations and resolve or escalate challenges • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (preferred) • CCIE certification (desirable) • Coding or software development experience (significant plus) • Experience with SONiC (highly advantageous)
