📋 Description

• Own the technical strategy for mobile QA infrastructure across the native rewrite • Design operational practices that reduce maintenance and operational overhead while improving release quality • Build and scale automated test systems for recurring regression testing • Define what should be automated versus handled manually across regression, performance validation, and release readiness gating • Lead QA readiness for the phased rollout, including success metrics, resourcing, and operations • Determine when to increase or reduce testing resources as quality gains diminish • Partner with engineering leadership, product, and design to define SLOs and quality dashboards • Shape the QA onboarding playbook for product teams transitioning to native • Set the hiring bar for QA contributors • Mentor L3-L5 engineers on test architecture, native debugging, and quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in mobile test infrastructure • Experience architecting automated regression systems for native iOS and Android at scale • Track record of defining and delivering test infrastructure strategy that other engineering teams depend on • Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin • Ability to architect test frameworks, debug native app behavior, and enforce compile-time quality constraints • Experience operating QA processes during large-scale migrations or platform transitions • Experience managing dual-codebase parity validation and phased rollout quality gates • Experience leading SEVs and postmortems that improve team practices • Ability to build alignment and secure commitment from cross-team and cross-functional partners • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight • Must be based in the USA
