📋 Description

• Participate across the entire software development lifecycle from concept to production release • Build backend services, APIs, and data models for customer-facing products and internal workflows • Develop frontend applications using Javascript, Typescript, React, and NextJS • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams on technical designs • Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and UI issues across a large distributed codebase • Contribute to technical documentation • Improve system design, code quality, observability, and engineering best practices • Leverage AI tooling, preferably Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation • Build and operate the customer-facing Power Packs experience, backend services, internal tools, and collection-system integrations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production applications • Substantial backend systems experience and meaningful frontend product experience • 3+ years of experience / strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Strong fundamentals with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB • Experience designing and building APIs and service integrations • 3+ years of modern frontend development using Javascript, Typescript, React, and NextJS • Experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS • Experience translating complex business requirements into clean, extensible systems and user experiences • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills • Ability to visualize and document processes • Proficiency in security, documentation, testing, and monitoring best practices • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Comfort using AI tooling, preferably Claude, for solution design, system architecture, and software implementation • Collectors uses e-Verify to validate ability to work legally in the United States
