• Lead College Board responses to district-level and higher education requests for proposals across all programs and services • Support the Director of Proposal Management on state-level RFPs • Own the full proposal development lifecycle from kickoff through submission • Develop proposal timelines, coordinate cross-organizational stakeholders, manage communications, facilitate reviews, and integrate feedback • Review and improve AI-generated or Loopio-sourced draft content and draft manually as needed • Ensure proposals are finalized, approved, complete, compliant, and delivered on time • Assemble and submit proposal materials with the Director of Contract Management • Identify and complete government forms and corporate information required for RFPs • Coordinate follow-up on state and district opportunities and maintain an escalation process • Lead proposal process and workflow redesign, including automation and AI-assisted workflows • Develop and maintain RFP process training plans and materials • Track proposal success metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and recommend process improvements • Pilot and evaluate emerging AI-assisted drafting, competitive analysis, and workflow automation tools • Participate in working groups, divisional activities, and organizational projects
• Knowledge of public-school procurement processes • Familiarity with College Board programs and services used by states and districts • 3–5 years of proposal management or competitive bid development experience • K-12 education or education policy background preferred • Proven project management experience managing multiple complex projects across diverse teams and immovable deadlines • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Proficient technical proposal, policy, or legislative writing and editing skills • Ability to synthesize information from multiple domains and contributors into a cohesive voice • Strong facilitation, collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing skills • Data-informed problem-solving and continuous process improvement experience • Experience leading or contributing to process and workflow redesign initiatives • Hands-on experience with AI tools for content generation, research, or workflow automation • Ability to evaluate, adopt, and embed AI tools into team workflows • Proficiency in proposal management platforms, preferably Loopio • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint • Proficiency with Slack • B.A. or B.S. required • Ability to travel 3–4 times per year to College Board offices or for College Board business • Ability to periodically lift boxes weighing 5–10 pounds • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions • Learner’s mindset and commitment to growth • Collaborative and empathetic approach
