• Manage a defined sales territory and drive growth of CooperVision’s contact lens portfolio • Build and maintain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office staff • Deliver product education, increase product adoption, grow market share, and achieve revenue objectives • Develop new business within the North Nashville territory • Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota • Maintain a territory call cycle of approximately 5–7 pre-set appointments per workday • Respond to customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours • Use consultative selling to understand customer businesses, assess needs, and profile accounts • Formulate and execute call-cycle plans and prepare account business plans with the Regional Director • Maintain technical proficiency with CooperVision and competitive products • Monitor industry trends and Health Product Research data • Educate customers on CooperVision’s product suite and recommend solutions • Sell value-added products and services to customer offices • Develop customer marketing plans and promotions and monitor return on investment • Use Microsoft Office and CRM tools to analyze product, account, and territory sales • Participate in state and regional optical shows when requested • Submit call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports on time • Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations • Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time and outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, trainings, and regional meetings • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Affairs, Customer Service, and Operations teams
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently • Excellent organizational skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups • Proficiency with MS Suite • Experience with CRM systems including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any industry • Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of direct related experience (high school + 8 years or similar) • Passing of background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and motor vehicle records • A valid driver’s license, proof of minimum insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record as required by the company • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets • Tangible product sales experience desirable
