📋 Description

• Lead, direct, and manage the cross-functional technology delivery team within the Payment business • Manage operational aspects of software development to achieve business and project objectives • Provide technical, administrative, and people leadership for multiple geographically distributed teams • Integrate AI tools, automation, and intelligent engineering workflows across the software development lifecycle • Build and lead a multi-team engineering organization with outcome-based metrics and continuous improvement • Align teams with enterprise architecture, governance, and shared engineering standards • Lead roadmap execution with technical and architectural oversight • Administer budgets, timelines, and performance measures • Oversee managers and staff across the Engineering team • Optimize delivery throughput and resource utilization through streamlined processes, automation, and AI-enabled tools • Cultivate relationships with business stakeholders and champion engineering best practices • Partner with Product, Operations, Data, Finance, Security, Program Management, and Business teams • Modernize development and testing through automation, DevOps, and AI-enabled workflows • Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent • Complete assigned performance-review responsibilities, special projects, and other duties

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience • 6 years of leading engineering teams as a people manager • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent • Extensive experience designing and delivering complex software systems • Recent hands-on technical work with Java, React/Angular, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled engineering practices • Proven success leading multiple teams and managers to deliver enterprise software across distributed organizations • Experience managing global development teams • Strong understanding of Lean, iterative, and flow-based delivery practices • Track record with automated testing, TDD, and CI/CD • Understanding of software operations and DevOps, including reliability, monitoring, telemetry, and incident response • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment • Ability to set and execute short- and long-term goals across projects and teams • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Healthcare or regulated-industry experience with compliance, security, and data privacy requirements preferred • Ability to work independently, interpret data, make timely decisions, maintain focus, and follow processes and protocols • High-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Dedicated, secure work area • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
