📋 Description

• Lead the development and improvement of high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite • Support existing software applications and enhance software components deployed in the Cotiviti product suite • Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders • Analyze and resolve complex software issues, including identifying root causes from internal or external customers • Document application specifications, design, features, and operation before production rollout • Design and implement solutions that improve performance and availability • Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership with clear recommendations • Ensure adherence to technology standards and recommend new standards and practices • Explore innovative improvements to processes and systems • Identify and evaluate new technologies for integration into the Cotiviti product suite • Execute appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with continuous improvement • Mentor and guide other engineers • Complete annual performance review goals, special projects, and assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of industry experience • 4+ years of healthcare data experience • Proficiency in working with large datasets • 5+ years’ experience with relational databases • 5+ years’ experience working with ETL processes • Experience optimizing and tuning SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers • Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design • 5+ years’ experience with MS Access • 5+ years’ experience with scripting languages: VBScript or PowerShell • Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools • Good written and oral communication skills • 5+ years’ experience with Java or Python • 5+ years’ experience with third-party platforms: Appian, Cloudera Hadoop • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive databases • 5+ years’ experience with web services using Java/Spring Boot • Strong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices preferred • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area with reliable high-speed internet • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
