• Provide a seamless customer experience from sales through service delivery • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned broker firms • Resolve customer service issues through telephone and email • Provide accurate information and solutions regarding benefit administration, enrollment changes, ID cards, and effective dates • Identify and coordinate with relevant internal departments • Escalate customer issues through appropriate channels for timely resolution • Keep customers informed about support-case status and outcomes • Educate customers about CRC Benefits services • Follow up routinely on service issues and adapt support to changing customer needs • Resolve conflicts, solve problems, and provide feedback to management • Research carrier administrative procedures, product availability, and product details • Learn and explain customer-facing products and internal system processes • Deliver elevated service to existing growth brokers and new brokers • Own customer loyalty and use data and metrics to guide customer behaviors • Maintain confidentiality of company information • Maintain phone and electronic service goals • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to customer satisfaction • Perform other duties assigned by management
• Associate degree or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in a related selling or priority customer support environment • Working knowledge of medical conditions and terminology and insurance products • Prior experience handling multiple customer service issues • Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external personnel • Knowledge of carrier plan features, benefits, HIPAA laws and guidelines, and underwriting guidelines • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret underwriting procedures, requirements, regulations, and contracts • Understanding of insurance products, preferably through insurance marketing or selling experience • Familiarity with security measures for Personal Health Information (PHI) • Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment • Ability to complete tasks on time while managing multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Exchange, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome • Life and Health Insurance License preferred • Ability to work occasional long, irregular hours during peak times • Ability to sit, frequently speak and hear, occasionally stand, walk, bend, crawl, and kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs
