📋 Description

• Lead technical initiatives, optimize team delivery, and drive architectural decisions • Design, develop, maintain, build, evolve, and support scalable software systems and core value-stream application components • Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities, including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, intelligent systems, and machine-learning solutions • Execute value-stream initiatives in an agile environment • Apply engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, testing, security, observability, and data management • Establish AI development lifecycle, prompt management, evaluation framework, and AI observability practices • Evaluate AI platforms, frameworks, tools, and emerging technologies for suitability, scalability, effectiveness, and business value • Design and implement knowledge-driven and retrieval-based solutions • Collaborate with data, product, engineering, design, architecture, and stakeholder teams • Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning • Contribute to technical vision, architecture, documentation, governance, and standardization • Advocate for Domain-Driven Design and loosely coupled architectures • Mentor and support engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster learning and professional development • Align technical work with business objectives, client needs, security, compliance, and responsible AI principles

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree (required) • 8+ years architecting, implementing, and maintaining 100,000+ lines of code multi-tier distributed web applications using Python, JavaScript (React, Node), Ruby (Ruby on Rails), J2EE, and other web technologies • 5+ years architecting, implementing, and maintaining JSON APIs • 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience in production environments • Extensive knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and data modeling • Experience incorporating AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, analytics, or machine learning solutions into business applications • Experience with model evaluation, prompt engineering, and AI observability tooling • Preferred: advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field • Preferred experience with AI-enabled applications, cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, platform engineering, emerging technologies, highly available mission-critical systems, AI governance, observability, model evaluation, responsible AI, technical leadership, and mentoring • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Practical hands-on judgment regarding AI/LLM approaches, reliability, cost, and responsible use • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
