📋 Description

• Lead development and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks • Oversee data architecture initiatives across multiple business units • Conduct architecture reviews for scalability, security, performance, and reusability • Develop and maintain data architecture visions and roadmaps • Oversee enterprise-scale data integration across diverse sources • Provide technical leadership for data modeling, storage, and integration practices • Incorporate data governance principles into architectural decisions • Establish and oversee data quality standards, cleaning, validation, and monitoring processes • Ensure access control and encryption for sensitive data • Serve as primary liaison to executive leadership on data architecture strategy • Present strategic recommendations and influence enterprise data initiative decisions • Translate technical and architectural concepts into business-relevant insights • Build relationships with executive leadership, IT, and business unit leaders • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, platforms, and systems • Develop knowledge of AI/Gen-AI impacts on data engineering and management • Collaborate with AI/Innovation teams on AI-led interventions for data teams • Lead future-state architecture execution and proof-of-concept initiatives • Mentor data architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams • Lead cross-functional design and delivery of data architecture solutions • Foster data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and skill development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience • 10+ years of total experience in technology, including at least 8 years in enterprise data architecture and/or data strategy • Proven experience leading large-scale data architecture projects in complex enterprise environments • Extensive experience designing and implementing modern data architectures • Experience with MS-Fabric, Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Power BI, and Copilot • Experience with real-time data distribution solutions and modern data platform tools • In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, data security standards, and regulatory compliance such as GDPR and CCPA • Expertise architecting solutions across diverse platforms and technologies • Mastery of data modeling, data modeling tools, data integration platforms, and metadata management systems • Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Ability to translate technical architecture decisions into business outcomes and build consensus across departments • Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus • Experience within the insurance or finance industry is preferred • Must not require immigration sponsorship or additional/permanent work authorization to work in the United States now or in the future
