📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable microservices and APIs optimized for reliability and low latency • Own a domain or service area end-to-end, including its data model and integration contracts • Apply domain-driven design principles to define and enforce service boundaries • Build and evolve event-driven integrations using Kafka across service teams • Lead code reviews, set technical standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Partner with product and clinical stakeholders to refine requirements for high-impact initiatives • Hold the team accountable for test coverage, observability, and the production health of owned services

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building distributed backend systems in production • Proficiency with Kotlin or Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem • Experience designing event-driven systems using Kafka or equivalent • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or comparable data stores • Track record of leading technical work across a team • Experience with cloud-native deployment using Azure, AWS, or GCP • Deep familiarity with domain-driven design and bounded context modeling • Exposure to LLM/AI integration or document processing pipelines • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) or EMR integrations • Background in high-throughput, low-latency service design at scale • Experience with event sourcing, CQRS, or other advanced event-driven patterns
