📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient microservices architectures • Independently design and code application and program solutions, potentially leading others • Translate business requirements into technical specifications • Design new applications and enhancements, including integration of purchased solutions • Perform system maintenance, research, problem resolution, and on-call support • Oversee or perform unit testing and assist with functional integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing • Support implementation of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions • Manage code assets for applications and promote asset reuse across the organization • Lead or act as a subject matter expert for projects and service requests • Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams • Mentor Java developers

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of overall experience in application program development • 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development • 5+ years of experience with integration concepts and practices • 5+ years of experience in Java Spring Boot and microservices • 5+ years of experience developing Java RESTful services • 5+ years of experience working with business and functional requirements supporting applications within a sub-domain or domain and relevant interfaces • 2+ years of experience supporting and leading others to develop API services using onshore and offshore teams • Good understanding of service/API interface structures • Experience or knowledge in MongoDB and GCP platforms • Knowledge of BPM, Extreme Scale – WXS, Mqueue, Splunk, cloud containerization, and DevOps • Experience with programming languages, development tools, databases, and the systems development life cycle applicable to a development organization • Experience with application development support software packages • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience)
